California water blade Yes or No
I have 2 Absorbers. Blue one that stays at home and a yellow one I keep in my Fit. Ive been using the Absorber for years too. Back when they were $20. Now theyre cheap.
Target and Walmart carry them. I dont think they sell the old style anymore? Maybe they do....
I have a hard handle california blade but i have nicked my car a few times, does anyone have a link to the "Jelly" blade? i would like to try it.

Wow, MX6. I had totally forgotten how hard it was for me to bring myself to buy my first one. That was why, they cost twice as much and I made one sixth as much. These are the good old days. Um, good new days.
Hahaa. I remember the first one I bought. I thought the price was ridiculous and now I see them for cheap. Same with the water blade though. I think they were $50 when on that QVC channel. Now theyre around $20?
Ohh, and I have 3 absorbers. I just noticed. Blue one without a case, (all dried up) purple one thats newish, and my older yellow one I keep in my Fit.

If you don't wash/clean your car completely of the dirt, then the waterblade will run the dirt particles through each swipe. Unless your a cleanFreak, or you don't care too much about the finish, the blade is good. I accompany it with a large waffleweave towel. I usually do quick washes, followed by the blade. There doesn't seem to be any noticeable scratches, but I'm sure by some microscopic or magnascopic ( <---- I don't think that's a real word) view the blade is marring your surface.
You can go with another theory. Use microfiber towels first, as it is said to lift dirt and dust form the surface, then blade it, then microfiber/waffleweave it. Regular microfibers don't seem to absorb much water, it always leaves some streak.
