That's the reaction I get most often.

The second most common reaction is when somebody gets inside and finds out that the car is much bigger on the inside, like it's defying the laws of time and space. Tall people discover that there is enough head and leg room. People are surprised to be sitting so high when the car seems so low. It looks like such a tiny, cramped little thing from the outside. It catches people by surprise.

I actually had one passenger that sit down in the front passenger seat looked around in the car, opened the door an got out an looked on the outside again and when he finaly sit down he said something like "it is not possible, but the car IS larger inside than outside"

Defies the laws of physics! Euro cars do this too. One of the things I love about the Fit. I just wish it could get the mileage they do over there.

Two things about their Fit MPG overseas:
1. 1 UK Imperial gallon = 1.201 US liquid gallon
So 30 UK MPG = 24.98 US MPG
2. They have L12's and L13's that are i-DSI. I doubt many of us would want to trade our underpowered L15 for a smaller engine.
