I'm looking at retiring my old 98 eclipse and I am looking at getting a fit. I know most people are getting msrp but if you got under, how much below msrp. I've gotten a quote for msrp on a 2008 sport but they said they would do invoice on a 2007. The salesman didnt say how much invoice was but edmunds quotes it at 14624 on a mt sport, and 15392 on a at sport.

Any suggestions?

 

I would find out first what they think Invoice is, but if it's lower than MSRP on the 08 I'd take the 07 at invoice. Especially since the only difference between them is 08's have some new colors and tire pressure monitoring.

 

Only slightly under MSRP, maybe $100-200 on the 2008. And that was by paying MSRP, but getting other stuff thrown in for free. If you can actually find a 2007, I'd go for it. They've been gone from here for over 4 months.

 

I paid 15.9k last Monday for an 08 Sport MT.
