so ive been monitoring this site for some time trying to find out if the bs that happened months ago to this thread was really over or not.
it looks like the moderators got it undercontrol. they also reassured me my account was not actually hacked, but just this thread title.
i hope you all are doing well and having a great summer.
ive not done one new thing on my GE since the last posts (HU install was one of the last), but i have been enjoying the car a lot. im coming up a year in ownership ('12 MT Sport). i only have like 6k miles on it still, but will be doing an oil change later this month. the reminder is showing 20%. i do still have my other cars as well.
the 09 GE (AT) is doing okay, but thing is starting to show age at 5yrs. it got bumped in the rear earlier this spring while my wife was at a stop light. not much damage, only cosmetic scratches which i just touched up.
next up will be the accord sedan, i think. im keeping my '12 for a while. might end up giving it to my kids later for them to use for school and stuff.

i need to go buy some 0W20 pretty soon. I also need to do the oil change on my 09 as well pretty soon. it still has that dealer-overfilled crap since last year.
been using mobil1 silver cap on my cars.

just in time before season's over. well, i guess there's no off-season, come to think of it, for our Fits. we are on all year long. 
yah, it's been a while since ive been actually excited by how a regular everyday-kinda car looks. that new accord is definitely stylish if one gets the higher trim ones with the nice wheels and all.the one thing i need to check is the trunk space. my wife carries a lot of her customer computers and need to see if she can fit them all in one trip. that would be the only concern i have. things dont go well, i will probably look at the CRV's. i dont want a real flashy car. want to keep low profile.

so this weekend im going to be painting some center caps i want to use on my winter set.
need to sand it down first to completely remove the brand name/logo as i dont really like them. hahaha.
last Fall i painted the hubs black using dupicolor engine enamel, but for some reason, the paint did not stick very well. the irony is that i used primer this time, and didnt stick well.
on my old GD, i used no primer on the hub, and the paint lasted like 5yrs. lol. i used the same cleaning method (wire brush, then blasted it clean with liberal amounts of RC car motor spray). not sure wat happened, but im just going to put on center caps this time and forget about it.

had no time to do the center caps this weekend as the family was doing community work gathering things to donate to goodwill. wife and i filled our fits to the max and carried a good amount of stuff for donation.
but the sad part is that, when i opened the hatch on my '12, something fell out and scratched my bumper.
about peanut sized amount of paint all chipped off. 
why bad luck for good deeds? i dont f-king understand.
but anyway, hope we made someone's day.

^^It happens. I messed mine up as well so I just added my own version of the rear bumper applique to cover up te damage. Can't even tell and it actually looks really good on there.
