I have this cheapo thing.

I wear it once or twice a month. When I'm looking for an accessory I tend to just wear a more ostentatious shoe. But I'm a shoe guy, the rest of my clothes/accessory are all very monotone/minimal.

Love watches. I like everything mechanical.

Those are both sharp! I like G Shock's, but my wrists are too small for them.

My two primary daily watches are a Seiko Automatic and an Invicta that my wife bought me. Have others, but they don't come out that often.

Thats a simple and clean watch Mike410b and those are nice too GAFIT. I totally know what you mean about the size of the watch. Some watches are meant for people with wrists the size of my forearm or something lol.

As for shoes that could be an equally expensive habit. I got a pair of all black Nike Freeruns and I love them. I should've bought a second pair.

I have this Gshock GA1000CA-1A and Tag Aquaracer Calibre 5. Some random Guess brand watches Ive had for ages.

Beautiful Tag! I wanted a Link back in the day. In South FL, they were everywhere. They look a bit dated now where as yours has a timeless look.

Pun intended

I have a couple Lorus Disney Goofy watches from the '80's. One gold and one silver. They run backwards and the numbers are backwards. Good conversation pieces. Back when I wore them I got to where they seemed normal and regular clocks were tough to read.

Nice that is a neat watch.

My oldest watch is a watch my uncle gave me from when he was a kid. It was a 1977 Bradley Swiss made Star Wars wind-up watch. Still in great shape and runs great to this day.

I've seen it as high as $100 and as low as $40. Trying to see the original 1977 MSRP. I've found a couple that come with the original box so thats cool. They also made a darth vader one as well.

If I owned it, it would be worth more than that to me. I think it's cool and it's even cooler since it was a family members.

I could see that picture as a mural on the side of a 70's van. LOL

As a side note, I ordered spark plugs and a clutch release bearing for the Fit today. I'm slowly chiseling away at a really long parts list that I need for the differential, clutch, turbo, brakes, suspension, etc install. Trying to spread out the expense so it's not as painful.

Haven't figured out a way to spread out the $700 Hondata or the $1250 coilovers. Those are going to hurt a bit.

mmmmmm Hondata....I like that Hondata is plug and play and offers a CARB legal version for my Civic. But I do like the Ktuner and all its extra features. If I had a CTR the Hondata syncs with the oem infotainment to show all its fancy gauges.

What coilovers?

Fedex claims my 2nd shipment of GPUs is out for delivery today. With my recent luck with them it'll be a box of rocks.

BC Racing DS (formerly DR) series coilovers.

They seem to be the best option available for a GD at this point. At least BC offers the step up DS series for the GD's. Mostly only low end stuff available now.

I was sad to see that the CTR requires sending the ECU into Hondata to be jail broken before use. That means there's no going back and no hope of hiding it from a dealer. Your ECU doesn't require that, correct?

No it doesnt, just flash it. I think you have to do that so you can sync/use the infotainment screen.

I liked my BC Racing Coilovers. Reach out to Chris at RedShiftMotorsports he got me a good deal on mine for the GE.

so im in this professional grade suv today. a new GMC terrain

the hvac kinda sucks cause i can’t stop the center vents from blowing into my face and the temp is either too hot or too cold between the increments. reminded me of a bimmer i rented last year. also the audio sounds like crap (no subwoofer) for a nice leatherish looking interior car. driving dynamics is fine for a suv, not a fan of rubbery buttons GM uses on the steering wheel.

cabin is rather quiet and it’s not a bad car. not sure the price but if low $20k’s then it should be okay.

I saw those GMC terrains and they look pretty nice on the exterior.

My only complaint with them is the front heavy front wheel drive feeling.

Rented a Tahoe and I thoroughly enjoyed the way it drove. Not a huge fan of the rubbery buttons either, but the rest was pretty nice.

nice shoes collection mike!

so i drove the terrain a little more last night and i think its actually pretty good. while the one i got (rental) is a fwd version it drove fine for the streets where im at. and the exterior is actually pretty decent. i parked it next to a current model crv.. i think the terrain looks better. so wat these professional grade folks need to work on is getting a professional grade stereo and professional grade center vent dial.

Still hard pressed to buy domestic...

On a positive note, my 2nd shipment of GPU's arrived safe and sound. Still not sure whats going on with the 1st batch though. Got a claim open thru Fedex and nVidia.

Supposed to rain today...drove the miata...hooray...no top down for me today.

Happy Thursday!
