The Official Blog from GD to GE to GK to GTI to R?
To be honest, just mounting them as is. I don't mind how rough they are, as long as they're structurally sound & look good in the sun (which these appear to be & do), I'll leave them. To be honest, them being kind of beat up is kind of fun to look at for me.

mike nice picts. yah done with snow but the last snow brought a crap load of salt which i am waiting for rain to wash away. then finally spring!!
today driving some ford hybrid sedan. slow and not that mpg friendly considering how powerless it is. and the center stack is a pos. all the buttons are clustered together looking like the back side of a gym shoe. wtf. can tell ford really don’t give a fak about sedans and their coupes.
and the climate control sucks interior is subpar.

Since you mentioned wipers...
I noticed yesterday that, in heavy rain, our Golf drags the water back onto the windshield on the drivers side. It drags it back into the left side of the drivers vision.
I had another car that did this. I think it has something to do with the flatness at the edges of the windshield. If it's round enough at the ends, the water runs off. If flatter, it can get dragged back and it seems that is what is happening.

hummmm i don’t have this issue on the GTI. have you tried different blades?
alright returned the rubber band gas and brake pedal fusion hybrid pos garbage. i found this car to be one of the worst cars i’ve driven in the last couple of yrs. not only does it have no power the thing just isn’t comfy to be in. driving position and cabin noise was fine but i’ve driven hyundai’s that were so much better than this.
waiting for my flight..

while driving the pos i saw a MK7 GTI and i was like dogdamn i want to get out of this shithole of a car and then insult to injury saw a Golf-R a few moments later. lol
. haha
. haha
shinjari- I'm really liking the ONR wash. I used it last week & am pleased with the results. I also used Optimum Opti-Seal. I let it cure for a day & them laid a coat of Sonax detailer. So easy to use, I'm sold.

Ken- Be careful driving those appliance cars you could bored enough to fall asleep at the wheel.
Mike- Nice wheels, I like their patina.
GAFIT- I love a gravel road, but not in a nice car. My wipers work fine on my GTI, but it is a MK6. I use Bocsh AreoTwin blades.

Yeah thats one thing I dont like about automatic trans haha. I get bored and sleepy
ASH - I'll have to look into that Opti-seal. My cars bead water like your photo. Plus all 3 cars are due for their spring detail. Wash, light clay (still pretty darn smooth), compound the miata (civic/elantra dont need), polish all 3 cars, liquid wax. Maybe that opti-seal?
May be getting a deal on that Milwaukee M18 mid-torque (600 ft/lbs) impact I was looking at. A co-worker had ordered the one I was looking at. Well, when it arrived....he got TWO! His invoice said QTY 1, but the exterior of the box said QTY 2. Not sure if he's worried about karma but we will see haha. They only charged him for (1) as well...so we will see. =)
Been looking at new glasses for work since my vision benefits renew every year. I'm an Oakley addict. Have (3) sets of sunglasses and the computer glasses I use at work. My prescription just barely qualifies me to use my benefits lol. Before getting my computer specific glasses, my eyes would be exhausted by the end of the day. Now they are never tired after work which is great.

The newest Mustang and Camaro are better than almost any of their foreign counterparts in nearly every way if not every way.
Same can be said for the Corvette, but it's doing battle in a whole other, much higher league.
