That is a great mindset to follow Mike410b. Definitely agree with minimizing our carbon footprint. Also, appreciate not being a soap-box vegetarian. We all know or have heard the stereotypical stories about them preaching. Granted every group has those...religious advocates for example haha.
Lol. Perfect. Awaiting Mike410b to get a battle aero chassis mounted GT wing...

besos should pay loyalty to amazon for using their name and plant more trees. lol
GT wings are cool if it works with the rest of the car and has performance to back it.
like the BRZ tS is a great horrible example.
He has all the money in the world, should put it to good use haha
That BRZ tS wing is way too small visually too. If it actually looked cool, I'd be way more into it.

Oh man, that thing is rough. My friend had a Voltex wing on his car for all of about a week & I really enjoy how it looked, but yeah, it is a lot haha
As for footprint, its tough. So much of the stuff that's been ingrained in us in society is so bad for the world at large. The classic desire for bigger cars, bigger houses, keeping up with trends whether with clothes, furniture, kitchen counters, etc., all wastes so much. Plus stuff we don't even think about like foam containers, straws, packaging that our groceries come in, and on and on.
I think there's a lot we can all do without much of a change in our lifestyles that would make a huge difference. This year I hope to start a small vegetable garden in my backyard, to be watered with a rain barrel collecting water from my house/garage gutters and put together a compost setup, rather than just throwing away food that has gone bad. None of that will take much time or money & should be beneficial.
I'm an omnivore. I like it all & make it spicy please. I'm late to the conversation here.

Yeah we have the rain barrel collection thing you mention. 55 gallons fills up surprisingly quick. Considering a 2nd barrel...maybe. We use that water to water our backyard plants/trees.
I will agree about lifestyle choices being ingrained in our systems. After travelling abroad both in Europe and Asia, you can tell how different America really is...and not necessarily in a good way. Too much emphasis on having 'things' and everything has to be large...wasting food... etc.
I mean we all at one point had/have an econo-box Fit....which Im sure one of the large attractors was its MPG and its cavernous cargo capacity. No Coal-rollers here...lol.

Dead on on all accounts.
That's why I re-aimed my sites from CTR/S3 to Corolla hatchback. I just don't need anything sporty & inefficient when I've already got a proper sports car at home.

Yeah GD was tiny. Wonder if the Fit's grew for both comfort and safety?
Corolla hatchback huh? Ahhh the former Scion iM. Those are neat. My experience with Toyota is limited to rentals or friends...I've always felt they had cheap plastic-y interiors. Guess I did have a Scion tC for a few years and that was a fun little car at the time. Not saying my Civic doesn't have plastic but I felt it was better feeling than the Toyota's.
The Corolla iM looks like a direct competitor with the Hyundai Elantra GT.
Saw this similar Civic to mine. He has the SI springs installed (cant even tell a diff), the body mouldings (kinda like them)...and that trunk spoiler add on.

yah i think people complained the GD was too small and got bloated. i think my GTI is shorter. much wider though.
yah those si springs are a stealth mod. good if the dampers can take it. that’s a busy car to start. i would keep it as simple as possible. too many lines.
Yeah now that you mention it, the body moulding and extra trunk lid do make it even busier than it already is.
I got word from a reliable source that Swift 'should' be releasing their springs for my trim level in ~2 months. I asked to clarify that they were for the non-SI because I knew the SI springs were coming in ~2 months and apparently the SI and non-SI Springs will be the same. Similar to what they did with the 8th and 9th gen civics. Time will tell...got my fingers crossed.
Yeah its already Wednesday! Love it.
Been warming up a bit here in SoCal lately...been in the low/mid 70s the last week or so.
I loved the older Mitsubishi Montero. Functional vehicle.
