not much update for today...other than we had lots of rain over
the weekend which resulted in a nice 'natural' car wash.

other then that, ive not done much other than fixing the
darn clock on the JVC. they should just put a CLOCK button
on there so it's easier to figure out. each time i have to pull
out my manual cause i keep forgetting... hahaha

not much update for today either as far as car things. it's been
too frikken cold actually. wfh's with this 18F this am??! in
MARCH?!

ive been working on my music stuff this week doing some
trial mixdowns and re-recording some stuff due to some
passages that could be further improved, need to redo some
masters tonight and probably remainder of the week.

its been a while since i did mixdowns and masters so my
ear has been kinda clumsy as far as telling me the frequencies
of the various instruments in the mix along with the Q of
each of the frequencies to eq, etc. it's taking some time to
get use to again.

Yeah I drove home around 11:30 last night and it was really windy hard to keep the car on the road. Just glad I didn't have to drive past any semi's. As far as this morning I didn't get up until 11am :P so I don't know how cold it was this morning. Still is chilly right now but not terrible for how windy it is.

hey, did you guys get your STIMULUS paychecks this month yet?

I look at my paycheck an almost fell over laughing. hahahaha. yes, i appreciate that i get my money back but
still, im not sure such little add-on is going to net me anything.

with they would just remove income tax for a year for middle class folks.

Hmm then it must be in my check coming up. How is it for? or is it a percentage? I am assuming it is tiny since you were laughing about it.

yah, i think it's a percentage. im not really sure, but it's not that
enough to call it a 'stimulus' is all i know. it will stimulate your
frustrations, maybe? hahahahaha..

so, yesterday going home i took the FitS though a little
spirited run and it reminded me i am a car guy afterall.
hahaha. can't wait for warmer weather. will definitely
need to turn the stock tires on my G this weekend to
minimize flat spots...or put my summers on.

oyi! checked weatherchannel and it's going to be sunny and 50F over the weekend.

sounds like i do need to install my summers on my G afterall...
and take her for a quick spin. and take my MINI out for a
quick spin on Sun.

sorry to hear that, Fitcapo. well, i didn't want to put a good thing to waste,
so i finished my music stuff early (before 7:30am), put my summers on my G,
took her out for a 30min test drive (WONDERFUL! is all i can say), put the
stockers back on the FitSW, washed the snow wheelset, washed the FitSW,
partially cleaned out my garage, and now washing the towels and mitt.

was a busy am. tomorrow im probably going to be inside all day working
on my music, but monday i think im going to work in my MINI. i might wash
my FitS tomorrow, not sure. i really want to get that damage fixed first...
need another 15F or so (65F or higher) to do the PDR.

this am driving to work on my FitS was very nice.

it's because weather is nice, no need to use A/C (defrost),
and that means much less effort for smoother shifting.

going to see if i can get those new wheels over to the
office by Wed.

it's like 70F outside today. went out during lunch for a
quick spin to DMV to get plate renewal stickers and stopped by
Shell to get some nitrogen gas. lol kinda windy so i passed
on the PDR today.

i wish they would stop putting detergent crap in gas and
just give us a nicer product from the beginning...(?)

so i got a chance to finally take a close look at the wheel that got
severely scuffed up from that accident.

it appeared like it was bent, but luckily it was just the lip
that scraped deep appearing like the wheel was bent.

SOOOOO~~~!! this means i can save my $700 for a new
wheelset and spend $30 to sand/spotbond/prime/paint them.

hahaha. (more funds for my music gear got my tax return
as well).
