Where in SC do you live?

I am in Lexington outside of Columbia. I am heading to Myrtle Beach next month, so if you are near there I can show you a few tricks of the trade, so to speak. I know Paul would take me up on that offer.

I grew up in Hilton Head Island and even lived in Beaufort a short time. Getting good mpg should be fairly easy around there.

I have not taken the Fit on the interstate yet, just around Beaufort with a couple of longer stretches down some rural roads (not all stop and go city traffic.) So far I get between 36 and 39 mpg. I thought that was pretty good until I read what the manual Fit gets! WOW!

I have read that some AT FITs have hit 50mpg. It really depends on how determined you are.
