Are you talking about a strut shock absorber or a antiswar bar or a shock tower brace?

No I don't have that set up at all. With living in wild and wonderful WV lots of hills and curves so I thought the front strut would be helpful. I have stayed away from any thing but appearance parts on my MR so this would be a first for the car, rims are next on the list and that will be all for the moment - oh gosh if I can handle not waiting for new parts with
Japanese writing on the box being delivered to my door!

so basically you only want to hear people who have the front bar and confirm it's usefulness?

if someone has it, and doesnt' think they are worth it, they are just as welcome to express it as those who have it and think its the best thing ever.

personally, i think the benefit is there, but your car needs to be pushed to see it. (see the canyon and cornering examples chris gave.)

and i bet about 75% of people don't push their cars hard enough to notice the difference. I'll still get one, but everything in its right place guys.

i only want to hear opinions from people that have tried a strut bar on the fit weither good or bad opinions. there are people on this thread that have never installed a strut bar on their fit that automatically say its trash.

We use laps on a race track to determine worth. Average of 10 laps and statistical analyses to show that one set is definitely better than another.
You may be disappointed to know no front antisway bar is faster than any of the antisway bar setups installed using a single bar with adjustable arm lengths. On my unlowered Fit sport with 205/40x17 tires on 42mm offset 17x7 wheels.
We found no usefulness with a single strut brace to each shock tower.
We are testing just a rear antisway bar and have found a little improvement may be possible there but have only one test with a rear bar that was slightly faster than the base lap times. Still, one improvement test is better than none. It needs more testing.
Anything that increased understeer was a loser.
Without valid numbers your opinion is invalid.

not really in my case. i took the progress rear bar off when i got my
coilovers. it was too much bias especially with the +40mm offset wheels.
maybe on a stock car with +55 offset it might work better.

as far as strut bars, the rear are a joke, imho. putting a bar over
rubber bushings... i SERIOUSLY doubt that does anything.

I have the spoon front one and it's kinda disappointing because it just looks like oem, not flashy cool like mugen so unless you know what you are looking for, you'd never know it was there.
Where as my j's rear, its right there, looking fashionable.
