i get "wow i really like your lug nuts." i have muteki lug nuts in blue. it happened several times too. i actually had some one pull up next to me wave franticly to catch my attention just to tell me that. my gf says its ugly but i was like "you are the only person who thinks its ugly."

 

yeah, if you get some nice lugs, people will notice

i dont know if it was a compliment...

but i was filling up at the local shell station i always get gas at. some woman was already filling up her huge denali on the other side when i pulled up. i started to pump gas, decided to wipe down the car a bit. after a few moments, i hear the lady ask "what kind of mileage you get with that thing?"

i look up and i tell her. "about 36 on the highway," she scoffs a bit. "but i average about 32 city and highway." and then she rolled her eyes...and then her head spun around and did a full 360 and puked green pea soup on my car. ok, the last part was a slight exaggeration.

i finished filling up and started getting into my car. when i drove away...she was still filling up.

 

That lady gotta be lying about the gas mileage on her SUV! Ain't no way she is getting in the 30s in a Denali!

 

Better check your reading glasses; those numbers are what he told her!

The Denali most likely only averages 14-15 mpg at best.

You know, there was a story on NBC yesterday evening about SUVs and how some people are stuck with them since they owe so much and cannot get squat on the trade.

but every person i know who owns one is rich, so gas isn't a problem
