Fit named in top ten Fuel efficient vehicles

saw this in car and driver and thought it was cool. We may be on the bottom, but thats not to bad for a seven year old car!

really? its rated higher, especially in base form and it has very little weight to lug around too. Even the sport version gets pretty darn close to our mileage.

the downside is the premium requirment for both. and the cost of entry.

most mini guys on carspace average about what we do, but with more distance between fill ups. (mini has a BIG fuel tank for being so small.)

I have to call BS on the whole article. It annoys me that hybrids constantly get high ratings. I have an 06 TDI and lowest tank was 39mpg's with two bikes on a rack on the roof. Best was 47 mpgs. With me averaging 42-45 every tank.

yeah the mini does get good mpg, but the cost of putting premium fuel in an "economy car" is ridiculous.
