This is true, and a good option. However will the Garmin allow you to use the voice control buttons on the steering wheel? Also something to keep in mind is that the VSC is only available with the factory nav.

 

Ill be waiting out for the 09. I do like the outside of the 08 but the 09 comes with so much more! The navi is what got me hooked.

 

Definitely, wait for the 09 it's way better and get this"finally aerodynamic". You know what that means, better mpg at higher speeds. The 08 is 7 years old don't even bother with it you'll make a bad purchase on a old car. The new is made correcting all the complaints consumers submitted.
