Then why not just omit the "all" and say "Did you have trouble buying a Fit"? Or "Did anyone have trouble buying a Fit"?

i had it easy too. went to the Honda Dealership, they just got their shipment of Fit's in. bought it a little over MSRP the same day.

 

i found those anoying on my test drive, so i bought a dead pedal and am getting an armrest... i figured 99% perfect was close enough... i wouldnt pass up a car caues of a couple things. True tho... always test drive, you wouldnt buy a house before getting it inspected would you?

i put a deposit the same day i test drove and waited 6 weeks for my ssm sport 3 pedal

 

Try it before buying it?

As with any major purchase, if at all possible, most people do. However, with today's consumer protection laws it probably isn't mandatory. Besides, I've always been able to drive pre-ordered Hondas when they came in, but before actually "signing the papers."

P.S. Our local dealer has a used '07 Fit as a demo, which I would not take as representative of an '09.

YES.

I would not dream of buying a car without extensively test driving it first. Make sure it performs satisfactorily for you, meets your expectations, is comfortable for YOU.

Buying a car without a thorough test drive is crazy IMO.

 

My dealer had 5 fits available but mine was the only 5MT

 

The entire state of michigan had 3 MT sports when I purchased my Fit
