That's a review of the JDM from 11 months ago, of course.

So in 11 months Honda added 200 lbs to the 09 Fit, surely you jest.

I think you're confusing me with mahout. I'm just pointing out that the facts you're using refer to the Japanese model, which you failed to mention. We don't know the US numbers yet. I also doubt there will be a 200 lbs. difference. But as for what we know... we don't.

From BobbyK:

Honda released prices of 09 Fit today

Model description MSRP

8729ew m/t $14,550.00
8829ew a/t $15,350.00
8749ew sport m/t $16,060.00
8849ew sport a/t $16,910.00
8769gw sport vsa m/t w/nav $17,910.00
8869gw sport vsa a/t w/nav $18,760.00

I called Jim back about the destination charges and he said that was in the MSRP. At the bottom of the sheet he fax me it said destination and handling charges are $670, so I assume the prices were plus des but I was wrong.

This is no bs,I got a copy from my Honda dealer today.
Pretty cool, looks like my MT Fit w/ Nav & VSA should be around $18,580 with the destination and handling charge included.

Is "Destination charge" same as "Transportation charge"? Because according to my dealer, the $670 is NOT included in the MSRP.

Is it true that the Honda NAVI doesn't have Bluetooth integration?

I could have sworn that I read in the past that it included BlueTooth. I don't see anything on the Honda news release about it now, and it isn't on this page:

2009 Honda Fit - The Official Honda Web Site

I thought it used to be.

The 2009 Civic with Nav includes Bluetooth.

The Fit Nav does not include Bluetooth. The button on the steering wheel that confuses people is used for voice activation of the Nav system.

I waited for worse MPG?

I think I'm going to be checking out some other cars if the Fit is going to get lower mileage than last years. I might check out the Matrix since they are now so close if you compare the 5spd manuals. I'm just glad that when I put $ down on the Fit I allowed myself a way out of the contract in case I find something better.

Yeah, if the dealer installs any tinting or anything, your price will be higher. of course your tax rate might be less than our 6%.
