yeah i have the xentec hid kit and i have almost no glare.

mine is angled pretty high up too.

hmm..

In my case it made a difference. The 02-04 RSX had a chrome housing. So painting the housing black was a huge difference. I am guessing that my BOM housings on the FIT will not have the same issues.

My kit has a separate fused power wire that goes to the battery. From what Ive heard and read those are the best kits.

My friend got an HID kit for free for his 05 RSX. It was an 8000k. He ran it for a 6months, had a bunch of problems then bought the same kit (4300k) I have. WAY less glare and hasnt had a problem yet.

Arent the RSX housings gloss black though? My housings are flat.
I have almost zero glare.

Is this the kit you bought? HID kits are so much cheaper nowdays.

actually ive been in the car industry for awhile.. so i just used the same brand hid ive used in my audi, honda si, acura integra 2 of em... they never had this problem maybe it will be better after i lower this car..? and paint the housing black

HID's should have the exact same portion of non-focused light as the Halogens they replace if used in the same housing. Think about it...you put a bulb in the same place in the same reflective housing. It's going to reflect light the same way. Difference with the HID's is that the bulb is brighter which causes more light to reflect. So the non-focused light might be more, but it's in the same proportion as it was with the Halogens.

We have the bi-xenon 35 watt kit in our Fit and I can't tell any difference in glare...just a large increase in total output.

I also put HID's in the foglights and they are still just as focused as stock (small housing), but also put out much more light.

I don't want flat black housings, but I think it would help a LOT. The SSM is very reflective.
