Can someone confirm this?

And concerning riding a bike to work, my friends you've never lived in
Los Angeles have you? Oblivious soccer moms in urban tanks yakking
on their cell phones everywhere. There are some parts of the city
where I don't even like walking on the sidewalk.

I have to drive defensively in my civic. There is no way I'm riding a bike
(motorized or pedal version). I'm rather fond of the way my arms and
legs work.
LOL! "Oblivious soccer moms in urban tanks yakking
on their cell phones everywhere" That's hilarious, but quite true I'm sure.

Yes, I could ride a motorcycle to work, when the weather cooperates.... maybe once a month. I live in Western Washington where it rains...and rains....and rains. It's raining right now, and has been since December 15th....every day, and there's no end in site. Since January 1st we've had over 3 inches of rain. This begs the question "why do I live here?" Because when the sun comes out, it's one of the most beautiful areas I've ever seen.

But I digress...

Quite to the contrary. I lived in LA for almost ten years, commuting to central LA first from Woodland Hills and then from Valencia. The bike came in very handy especially after the Northridge earthquake when I-5 was destroyed through the Newhall Pass. LA is the perfect place for biking. Lane-splitting is not explicitly illegal, and the roads are generally good. All those people gridlocked in their cages surely where jealous as I zipped by at a decent, but always safe and sane speed. All my apendages are still intact and right where Mother Nature intented them to be.

I'm with you on that one! I rode my bike 14 miles to work this morning (and now I'm sitting here NOT WORKING...uh...I'll check in later).

Getting back to topic.........

Hopefully there will be a good body kit for this version of the Fit.

I have to admit, I still like everything about the Fit other than the extra bulk of the bumpers. I would be surprised if any of the aftermarket kits out there on Fits overseas will work with the U.S. version....so as soon as I see a good kit for the U.S. Fit...I'll be at the dealership!!

You're not the only one. I knew it looked different after looking at tons of JDM Fits. Like Silver said this kinda eliminates any USDM Fit using current JDM kits.

Time for a JDM conversion

Good on ya, Tulip. I just picked up a 17" rear wheel for my VFR400RR. The tire choices for the 18" are just too limited. On the bike side, for some reason Honda likes to get weird with wheel diameters. Hope you are riding safely and sanely. Also hope you have some good roads to shred on the weekends. The only two things I miss from LA are burritos al pastor from King Taco on 3rd Street and Angeles Crest Highway.

Safe riding/driving to all...I don't mind the big bumpers. I don't see them as being that offensive, at least not in the photos. Maybe when I see them for real, I will change my mind. As I am not planning on adding a body-kit, it really doesn't matter. I'd rather work the underbody stuff, and have a wolf (or at least at really mean chihuahua) in sheep's clothing.
