GG, that's the price for the DX here within $150. The LX i drove tonight is $17,180 + tax sooooo.....$21,111.66...all said and done.

That doesn't work out- what is the tax there?
Did you Trade in and get a tax break? I will only be paying tax on the difference between my trade (03 Civic) and the Fit but even then it still adds up to be more. Tax here (Cleveland) is 7.5%. I'll be financing and paying intrest so I will be looking at somewhere around $19000 for the Fit Sport 5AT.

 

I think you have your factors reversed. Since the result is miles per gallon, the bigger imperial gallon would increase the miles per. Based on the figures on the sticker and a correction of 1.20, a US gallon would propel the Canadian Fit for 32.5 city and 40 highway miles. That differs from the 33/38 we have been hearing and could refire the "why is their mileage different from ours" debate.

 

Different testing methods. Look at other cars of the same size and you'll see that the Canadian highway mileage is always better by 2 - 3 mpg.
