that wasn't standard. you probably got it as a dealer-installed option or something.

Fit Found!

He is one lucky guy. A friend of the family a few neighborhoods away called him asking why he left his car in the community center parking lot for so long. Whoever took it, drove it around a bit, and left it right down the street! All they took was the guitar, the car appears fine. Hes waiting there for the police right now. Hopefully they can get some prints and see if they can catch this guy.

I'm happy my Fit-Friend is back!

im glad the Fit was found... the morons who took it should still be unusually punished... maybe dragged around by the fit they stole for a few hundred miles....

It doesn't matter if it's a fit, if some thief spot something inside the car then for sure it will get broken-in or stolen. This is why I don't leave any anything out in the open and I always put everything away or hidden. The inside of my car looks like it's still in the dealership!

Agreed. I have many pillows and lay them "casually around" conveniently covering all important stuff.

Really should not leave anything very valuable in the car alone... People are unpredictable and you don't know when you are going to get "hit".
