Hybrids are a temporarily solution to the high gas prices and being a environmentally friendly way of getting around town. There not gonna last unless they seriously come down in cost or there mileage ratings go way up to justify the few thousand they cost more then there gas engine counterparts.

 

Unfortunately people excuse poor performance in a Hybrid but not in a normal vehicle. This gives Hybrids an advantage as they don't need to make the extra power.
