Age of FIT owners in here?
I have been getting mine for a few years now.
29 here. In order of purchase, with price:
1984 Mercury Marquis, powder blue, 3.8 V6, made several attempts on my life before being scrapped. Hand-me-down from mother/stepfather.
1983 Pontiac Firebird, black metallic, 2.8 V6, eventually couldn't afford to put it through safety inspection (needed too much work) and is currently sitting in mom's back yard, waiting for restoration. $1700, local car lot.
1996 Geo Metro 4-door, purple, ??? I4, catastrophic head failure lead to ring damage and compression loss. $600 at silent auction.
1991 Dodge Stealth RT/TT, firestorm red, 3.0 V6, modified. Weekend toy. $4600, Ebay.
1990 Buick Century Custom, powder blue, 3.3 V6, given to Dad so he can put less miles on his Subaru Baja. $500, friend to friend.
2007 Honda Fit Sport, storm silver metallic, 1.5 I4. Daily driver, general-purpose car, and substitute toy when I can't afford a tank (20 gallons worth) of high-test for the Stealth. $11,000, friend to friend.

I have been drawing disability income from the Veterans Administration for the last 43 years but not that much until 20 years ago... If I had killed somebody or became addicted to alcohol or drugs and been incarcerated I would have gotten it sooner.... I don't look all that old until I have to get up and walk.
Drinks on me. Smoke 'em if you got 'em.

Well, at 72, I'm delighted to join all you youngsters - 'specially Cardenal and Coyote - with whom I'm pullin' the big bucks from SSA. My Fit handles almost as well as some of my previous transports. It's a delight! Seems almost the same vehicle as my '87 Civic Wagovan which I still drive. Here's the chronological list - some I gave to my offspring but I've driven them all for awhile.
1960 Austin-Healey MKIII
1964 VW Beetle
1965 Porsche 356SC
1969 VW Beetle
1974 Audi Fox
1975 Audi 100LS
1976 Audi 100LS
1967 Austin-Healey Sprite
1976 Volvo 245
1986 Chevrolet Sprint (Suzuki)
1987 Honda Civic Wagovan
1994 Honda Accord SW
1986 Toyota Tercel
1987 Toyota Tercel SW
1992 Toyota Corolla SW
1974 VW Type 2 Riviera Camper
1994 Toyota Camry

That 1960 Austin-Healey MKIII still around? That is one sweet ride.
