Age of FIT owners in here?
23 as of last month.
Bought the Fit new in April 2011.
Previous cars were a 1999 Subaru Outback (first car) followed by a beat up cheap high mileage 1997 Civic EX 5MT that I learned stick on and bought because the Subaru died and I needed a car quick!

72 but age is only a number, real age depends on how you feel after doing contortions of jobs that didn't bother you when 40. Modifications: seat covers over foam, armrest for passenger, changed angle of seat track, working on how to install the gel pad for drivers door. Trying to make it a comfortable ride, as well as being the perfect toad for MH, finally tested with a 150 mile run, works for me. Only car under 3000 pounds with automatic that can be towed.
HI....52 female here.
My other car is a 1997 BMW 328is. All original.
So far on my FIT.... I surrounded myself in 'White light' (LED's and HID Kit).
Window vents and dark window tint.
I am currently shopping for some black rims, front grill(s) and fog lamps.
I bought this car in October. It's a 2010 Base model. I travel a lot and do not want the mileage on the Beamer... nor can I get the gas mileage!
I am Happy with my car so far...... Except for when the back windows are open (and not the front) and you get this Whacka Whacka Whacka noise from harmonic distortions.

I'm currently 29.
The GD1 is technically my second car. Ever since I laid first eyes on the GD in photos in 2002 I knew I always wanted one, but I didn't expect my parents to get me one second-hand. "Aibo" has been with me ever since. He's a 2005 GD1, acquired in 2007, and I've paid every cent of his maintenance. Even though I daily-drive him and take him to the racetrack he feels like the last car I'll ever need or want.
Aibo replaced a 1999 SX8 Honda City 1.5 EXi, which is basically a resurrected 1988-1991 EF Civic.
Mods so far:
15x6.5 SSR Type M wheels
Recaro SRD seats
BRIDE RO-type seat rails
Kyo-Ei 17mm steel lugnuts
GD3 facelift rear bumper, wing and LED taillights
Momo Fighter 350mm steering wheel
Bosch Windtone twin-tone horn
Pioneer DEH-P7950UB iPod/USB-capable head unit
16x7 Rota Circuit 10 wheels (sold off)
Work RS 21mm aluminum lugnuts/wheel locks (in storage)
Kyo-Ei Bull-Lock 21mm steel lugnuts/wheel locks (in storage)
Stebel Magnum twin-tone horn (shorted out)

Haha sweet! I'm curious how the Fit compares to the old school Civic hatches that most people seem to love? My first Honda was a 2007 Fit and I've never been in an old Civic hatch.
I am still 53. I enjoy my Fit. Originally wanted a GD when they first came out but listen to the Honda salesman that said the Civic was a better choice. I did not get either.
As I have grown older got away from the status issue with owning a car which means if your friends judge you on your material possessions you need new friends. This time around I wanted a manual, hatchback, good mpg, reliable, inexpensive and fun to drive the Fit was all this. Brought and do not regret.

Just turned 32 last month. I have owned a lot of cars but my 2011 Sport model is maybe my favorite one I have owned. It does everything I want and doesn't cost me an arm and a leg at the gas pumps like my old Xterra did which was traded in on the Fit.
I'm 30 and I bought a 2007 Fit Sport early this month! I've been to the pump twice since owning the car and never filled it much past a half tank!
I always laugh at how small the car is compared to others. I used to own a 1994 Saturn SL1 which was great but she had made her time. The honda fit is dwarfed by the huge SL1 (which was a bitch to park because of it's huge front end that seems to stick out forever) but oddly, the Fit is 90 pounds heavier than the old boat! I must say that the Saturn was made mostly of plastic panelling which was a great idea because it doesn't dent and doesn't rust so it looked great even after nearly 20 years! The undercarriage was a whole other story... it looked like it was part ripped off of the Titanic. That's what Quebec's winter and salt will do to your car.
I'm a musician and I usually carry lots of gear. Tomorrow, along with my amps, 2 guitars, I have to go pick up the percussionists congas... no problem, I still got room for one in the front!
With the seats up, the Fit has plenty of refinement, with the seats down, the Fit feels like a pickup truck. Plus, the price was right and I bought mine outright so no dept for me

I'm 37 I have owned in order:
'72 Mercury Capri
'68 Cadillac Coupe De Ville
'72 Ford E150
'82 Ford Thunderbird
'72 Plymouth Fury
'97 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme
'96 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme
'02 Mazda Tribute - Still Own
'94 Honda Civic DelSol - Still Own
'98 Buick Century Custom
'12 Honda Fit Sport- Just bought
I've frequently driven several other cars but the weren't mine Sunbird, Camero and a '07 Accord.
The sad thing is my Fit when I bought it had like 50 miles on it half were from my and the wife's test drives. One week later with still less than 200 miles on it it was backed into by some lady in a blazer-- she was backing right off the curb. Hit it right where the bumper meets the quarter. $1400 in damage! Her insurance is State Farm and they have been being AssHats. Nebraska doesn't make insurance pay for deprecated resale even though once it been fixed its now still worth less than one that hasn't. Ya just can't have anything nice.
Not 2 weeks after that someone in a giant white pickup backed in my DelSol parked in front of my house... People need to look behind them when backing up.. the Fit is freakin Orange and the Sol is Green you really cant miss them.
