Age of FIT owners in here?
Opening an old thread. I was 43 when I bought it and I still own it at 53. We keep cars until they only have scrap value so the list is short for two people. Out of order below:
We had an 86 VW Golf GTI (From Brother in law)
Dodge Neon (From Sister in law)
Ford Escort with a salvage title that I sold to my brother for 1$
Geo Prizm.
06 Corrola we bought new. (Wife's first new car)
18 Camry we bought new. (Wife's current car)
84 Pontiac Fiero (My first car)
86 Bronco II
10 Fit (My first new car and still rockin' it.)
93 Honda CBR600F2 (My first new anything and was going to be my death or ticket to jail.)

79 yrs old sold our 2019 Toyota Rav4 XLE with 7,000 miles got $28,200 for it. Went back and looked at the original sale I paid just over $29,000 for it back in Oct 2019.
Fit has 98,000 miles on it in 10 years it should have 148,000 mile on it.

Previous cars:
1975 VW Rabbit purchased new in 1975, scrapped in 1991 because of rust.
1984 Toyoya Camry LE purchased new in 1984, scrapped in 2017 mostly because of rust.

Age
I am 81. Our second Honda Fit, the previous one being a 2008...kept it for 11 years. A wonderful car.
We now have a 2019 Honda Fit EX, with automatic. We are averaging 42.5 mpg over 2.5 years of driving. Most of our driving is in the mountains, or in the desert here in NM.
We have Honda Sensing, and use it all of the time. Recently, the radar and front camera saved us from a very bad accident (not our fault). The radar saw the truck 1 second before we did, and braked.
It may have saved our lives.

Sounds good. We had two Civics that we kept for 17 years each, just by coincidence. The 1980 had 305,000 miles on it.

2000 VW Jetta 5 speed TDI, wrecked, this one got 50 mpg, honest!
1979 VW GTI, 1.8 L, 5 speed, scream machine, last VW made in USA- Pittsburgh area, sold as rust bucket

1972 GMC Vandura 2500 1/4 ton panel van, stock 350 Olds rebuilt by hand,4 barrel carb, with 3 speed MT on column- what a beast, (sold for motor, race car)
And last but not least, my first ride, 1974 Dodge Dart Swinger, 225 cu., in. slant 6, with 3 speed 8 ball shifter MT, 2 barrel carb, this one you couldn't kill, even with 25% coolant/oil level, burned up,(leaking fuel pump)-sold to one who rebuilt it
There you have it, four german, two japanese, rest USA made. 5 wrecked, 4 sold.
Only one injury ever sustained in wrecks -> a dislocated shoulder.
