Good choice, and with any maintenance at all, the wheels should never fall off.

Almost the same here, 30 years and out of that 26 years were spent using public transportation and the last 4 sharing a 2004 Volvo S60 with my husband. We work literally right down the street from each other, so kept putting off getting a second car. But now that I have it it's like a whole new world! I no longer have to sit and wait for him when he's stuck in meetings till 8 pm!!! I can just go home and have a glass of wine!

Good for you! That reminds me - time to order more wine. Take a look at nakedwines.com. You can get a case for $60 - good wine, too.

I'm about to turn 33 and take delivery of my 1st 2015 Fit on Friday.

I also own a 2010 Ford F150 for hauling/plowing purposes.

I had a 1977 Ford Fiesta. Not saying it was the worst car I ever had, but it was close. Had 110,000 miles on it when I traded it on a 1987 Honda Civic Si, my first Honda. Got 193,000 outta the Civic. Night & day over the Fiesta.

I'm 32.

- 2015 Fit LX MT - bought brand new on 01-09-2015 for $17,250 OTD
- 1997 Geo Prizm MT - bought on Dec. 2001 with approx. 40K miles for $5K. It needed and engine rebuild due to crankshaft damage, so instead of fixing it, I got a new Fit and sold the Geo for $400 with 146K miles. I do like the Fit, but do miss the Geo.
- 1991 Ford Festiva Automatic - bought sometime in 1999 I think for $1500. Sold it in summer 2001 for $1K with approx 100k miles.
