When I bought my Fit it was hot here and it's going to stay that way for months. I'm pleased with the acceleration despite running the a/c, so when the cooler months arrive, and if the performance improves with the a/c off, I'm going to be ecstatic! I've driven a big variety of vehicles, including rentals and work vans, with a/c blasting, and the Fit's performance -- and the a/c itself-- is as good or better than most.

I bet those with manual get better air conditioning than those with the auto. Mine is "cool" on the freeway, but I used the paddles today to play with 4th and 3rd gear and -- holy cow the a/c started making ice cubes! The manuals spin faster on the freeway.
