Jumped a dip in the street...

Okay, so i didn't notice a dip in the street i was driving down, and i was still going 40.. i ended up hitting it hard, and according to the driver on my left, i got up about 2 feet.. i looked around the car and didn't really notice anything falling off and such.. and i didn't hear anything out of the ordinary the rest of the drive home. Only thing i saw was two zip ties under the front bumper that were coming off, what were those for? (car is completely stock) Anything I should check for later on or be worried about?

you should be fine. your alignment might have been knocked out of whack, but if it drives straight and all that, you are good to go!

^^ my guess is when he had work done the shop lost the clips so they used zip-ties. I did some thing like that in my Neon, I scrapped the hell out off my tranny, other then that no damage.
