Question Looking at getting a 2009

Hi all,
I have a 30mile each way Houston commute that is a mix of stop and go and 75mph. Not sure right now if the fit would be perfect for that or not. I wanted a Pr**s for a wile but I had fun driving a fit today.
2009 HONDA FIT SPORT
Is the one I looked at, the front was crashed but everything seems to be put back together well. I'm waiting for the guy to send me pictures of it after the crash so I can see how bad it was. He tells me the airbags never went off. (is there any way I can verify that?) The chrome on the steering wheel badge is peeling. Something got on the bezel of the radio because the dye is worn streaked off on the left side of it.
Any suggestions, or opinions would be most appreciated.

The Fit would be perfect. It'll get great gas mileage and it'll laugh at 75mph. On the highway, I have a hard time keeping it under 80.

Thanks, maybe more like 65 now, I got a speeding ticket Thursday. I need to be a good boy for a little while.

Well, we bought it today. Makes a strange electronic sounding buzzy noise. Other than that seems like a good car. According to to computer I got 48 mpg on the hour long drive home Proceeded to go out to dinner and parked in a lev spot.

Buzzy sound when driving, idling or....? And you can't rely on the MPG-o-meter. You may have gotten some good mileage but I am seriously doubting 48 is right unless you coasted down a lot of long hills!

The noise comes and goes. Could be stopped could be driving. We did not hear it on a short trip to the store today.
I don't expect that kind of mpg often, it was just the circumstances of traffic and lights that kept my speed low and consistent.
