here we buy chrome coloured plastic covers for the mirror with the indicators in already, they just have to be wired up. they can also be blue leds so u have constant blue leds on at night, or even both. they are really cheap.. off the top of my head 5000 baht that would be in US 129 and for you brits 70 pounds.

If you want some pics i should be able to make some in a couple of days

Blue lights are an instant ticket in most of the USA - police lights ONLY! (A friend of mine has a surplus German army Unimog ambulance - he has to keep a cover over the rotating blue light - even if it is off...)

Yeah blue lights are generally a nono

In any case, shipping is likely to be the deal breaker. I remember shipping stuff from Hong Kong to Canada wasn't cheap.

Yep, if you look under AJ-Racing in the vendor section, they have them listed with pictures and he has them on his car. Awesome mirrors, also power folding, though you need the JDM switch for that also.

I found these 3 LED amber lights from Blazer Int. at CanTire for $10.
When I can find the wire locations for the turn signals I am going
to install them on my mirrors.

Still working on getting a better bulb in the rear Fit turn signal.

If the link does not work here is the pic of the 2" long lights.
(I removed the white plastic base.)

Installed Mirrors with signals

Here is one shell, after priming. Note the slot for the lamp assembly:
Yfrog - mirrorshellprimed004

The lamp assembly contains amber LEDs and looks like this:
Yfrog - mirrorsignallamp006

Installed, the passenger side looks good:
Yfrog - mirrorsignallampinstall

I used the installation instructions from FitFreak, with very minor variations.

[Sorry about not embedding the photos, but I couldn't get that to work. ]

Oh yes, they work with the turn signals.
The installation instructions are in DIY Turn Signal Mirrors (winkers)
