Free tires for life? That sounds too good to be true. Considering you could easily go through a set of tires every 2 years, and considering that Fit size tires are about $300-$400 (or more) for a set, you could really rape the dealer for a good $1800-$2000 or more if you keep the car for over 10 years. If it's true, your Honda dealership is insane (or stupid)! If I were you, I would get that "tires for life" promise in writing and have it signed by the owner of the dealership, because if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

the only deal we got was MSRP and that is it. I would think deals are not going to happen since these cars are in such high demand.

A dealer near me said they offer a free 100k miles warranty and tires for life on all their Hondas. Then I asked for details, and found that you had to do ALL your major service with them... EVERYTHING, including oil changes. THAT will end up costing a lot more than tires and basic service.

If your dealer really does give you free tires for life with no catches, that's pretty sweet.

Today I went back and asked them about my car. It just hit the shores so it'll be another week or two till it gets to the dealer. Another thing is, I wanted MT, but it was a Auto.

Take it or leave it...

I think I'll take it!

I tried to get them to throw in some floor mats. and if they could, get me the cargo cover too.

We'll see!

Paid MSRP with $500 down. Only special I talked them into was free oil changes for the life of the car and yes I have it in writing. I wouldn't purchased the accessories I needed for the car from the dealer because they would not go any lower than 10% off MSRP even after showing them how much cheaper I could get them from Bernardi Honda online. Their lost.

I thought that there were no addons for the Base or Sport. What you see is what you get.

I went to Bay Ridge Honda and was told there was a 20 person waiting list. I don't think they're trying too hard to provide any incentives.

There are a lot of add-ons but, of course, you have to pay for them. I got a cargo cover, all-weather floormats, and a tailpipe cover.
