I subscribed to that thread w/ Java Fit's info, just haven't gotten to that mod yet, hopefuly by early summer.

Yeah I'd like to raise the shifter about the same also max 1 1/2" higher would be perfect for me. I wouldn't have to move my arm at all from the armrest, just quick wrist shifting.
The only extender's I've seen like the Circuit Hero are way too high for me.

Which might help Jamy.

Have you seen this thread ---> https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...t-shifter.html
He combined both the Mugen + H-Fit short shifters, and got a really short throw... He then added the extender to bring the shifter back up in height. I think ended up having mixed reviews and removed the extender because the added height added more throw.

I've been thinking about doing it for a while, but hasn't been a top priority.

If you need help with that horn install either Java and I have both done it. It's pretty simple but we are both open for questions if you need help.

As for the shifter I'm not sure if that would work with a GE fit. It might but Idk if I want to get that into it. I'm pretty happy with stock now that I got my BLOX shift knob on there. Thanks for the link though!

Thumbs up

Thanks Jamy & Java... The OEM Honda Bosch upgrade should be relatively simple, as it's plug and play, just need to add an additional relay to the battery from what I've heard. It's the additional airhorn that might be tricky, I might have to drive to Huntington for that assist.

GD/GE short shifters are interchangeable. Some one in that thread did it with a GE. I'm going to get the H-Fit kit, and see how it feels before I decide to combine it with the Mugen (if ever). It's not really on top of my list.

He's got the turn signal mirror's. And I think I've learned how to wrap those half rounded style object But not positive. I'm liking having color matched side mirrors still so I don't really want to try with mine. But if any one can help him out it'll be you Vinny.

Oh. And I have a real challenge this time if I can't find any information. It involves programmable LED's and messages flashing in my hatch for people behind me.

I'm lol'ing! Thanks Subie!

But I originally wanted it for when I'm pulling into my drive way since idiots don't realize that a turn signal and brake lights mean I'm going to SLOW DOWN and then turn. Something along the line of "BACK THE "EFF" OFF, I'M TURNIN HERE!".

Lol I'm very rarely in the right lane! Hence the bright red "<--- EVOM CIFFART WOLS" sticker across my windshield.
