anyone use a ultragauge?

I just got mine hooked up today. My question is on the coolant temperature. Mine is reading around 170 after the car warms up and I know that is low. I want to know what readings other users of this gauge are getting. Is it because of where it gets the readings from? If not I guess its time for a thermostat.

The thermostat on the Fit is 180 F. You're not really far off and it may be due to the outside air temperatures. The thermostat will stay closed until 180 F. I have a scangauge that monitors that. My car is a constant, after warmup, of 179 F. My car is the GD 08.

Mine hovers around 176 depending on what I am doing.

So, that's completely normal.

Thanks Subie for the link! Thanks to all with answers on the engine temp. I am now having kind of a problem with the set-up on the ultragauge. When I go to set what gauges I want I don't get the alphabetical zones. All I get is the different screen numbers of 1-8. I can't for the life of me find out what I have done wrong.

If anyone is considering buying one of these I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING ONE! I spent around $89.00 with two mounts and shipping and possibly tax. It got here really quick and you buy it directly from them. They also offer a 9.00 rebate but omg it's a freaking hassle they make you jump through a done of hoops for 9$.
Anyways it literally does everything you can think of. Clears CEL lights and can tell you temps on anything with a sensor. Best part is LOD and MPG.

Only problem, it creates a small draw on the battery and unlikely to drain it overnight but over a weekend it's gonna be a significant drain. It will shorten the life of the OEM battery so that is why I unhooked mine.
I've measured the draw and it's about 30 extra milli amps
