wind/road noise?

how does everyone rate the the wind and road noise? is it loud, quiet, in the middle somewhere? is it good considering it is an econo car? i havent been able to test drive the fit, and probably wont get to until mine arrives. i did a quick search about this and didnt see anything and i havent noticed anyone talking about it.

i did notice that when i test drove the yaris, there was virtually no wind noise at all, but when accelarating all you could hear was the motor screaming for help as it tried desperatly to reach the speed of traffic.

I think that it rates in the middle for an econo car. Not to bad, but with a car that sits that low to the ground, you will have that from time to time. I do know that they make noise dampening "stuff" that you can spray under the wheel wells and whatnot.

It sounds fine to me. Quieter then the old car, which is all we hoped for.

Pretty quiet, and it's definitely quieter than our '02 Forester. I really enjoy the speed-sensitive volume control, too... makes you not notice the road noise as much when the volume adjusts itself
