Adios, So long, Goodbye and...

Thanks for all the fish

Tomorrow I take my eight month old 2012 Fit Sport for its last
ride to the Acura Dealer.

It is being traded for a new Acura RDX ( with Navigation ).

I decided that two cars is too much for my 74 year old bones.

A friend is buying the 2005 Acura TL ( still a great auto).

Until I sell our home I will be commuting about 670 miles to
visit my dear wife in a long term care facility.

I really loved how the Fit handled and the great gas milage but
I have more serious things to worry about now....

Someone is going to get a great buy.

Jerry

Good luck and best wishes to you and your wife Grayfox... You are nine years older than me and I know that doing 760 miles of driving in my Fit would do me in for at least a few days.. The farthest I've gone in a day in the Fit was 525 miles and 9 hours, from Matamoros Mexico to Palestine Tx.. That was when it was new back in 2006.. Take care..

Good luck in your travels. Cars like the Fit is great for a short daily commute or running around town but 670 miles on a ongoing basis would wear down anyone no matter our age.

Wow 74, I think it's too much for my 40-less-than-that-year-old bones sometimes! Good news is it's not tough to get a better ride quality from any number of cars. Good luck!
