Firmware Upgrade for iPhone iOS compatibility?
I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know if there is (or if there are any plans for) a firmware upgrade that would make Honda Fit stereos compatible with this new iPhone iOS?
Before I updated my phone to the latest iOS, it worked perfectly with my 2010 Honda Fit Sport's stereo. I could plug it into the USB cable and control my music through the car stereo with no problems. But now Apple Music has made that nearly impossible to do, and half the time it tells me that the accessory (my stereo) is not supported and it won't work at all.
Like I said, I know it's a long shot, but when I posted about it on the Apple support forums I was told by another user that this was the only way to get it working again. I love listening to my music in the car rather than the radio, and the idea of not being able to do that anymore is incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
