i was referring to the thread starter. it's the clutch pedal. when u step it half way, it clinks, and when u depress, it clinks that same spot. it's very tiny. u're more likely to feel a tiny tickling sensation in this position than hear anything. it has to be super quiet for u to hear anything. it's not loud like gears engaging or something. the tiny click feels like it comes from the spring that pushes the clutch pedal back out.

 

My '86 has no clutch pedal noise and original clutch fwiw.
Will be really!! disappointed if a new Honda has this issue, if I ever get one!
