I figured I'd make a thread to show crazy or interesting things our members have captured on their dash cams. If there is another thread like this, sorry I didn't see it.

I'll start it off as I recently captured a car hitting a guard rail on my way to work. I was just trying to get out of the neighborhood and this happened. Stopped and asked if they were OK, but no response other than them starting their car so I went on my way.

That was definitely weird!

 

That was weird indeed. They were either on something or a stupid new driver.
I have a dashcam too but haven't seen anything really out of the ordinary.
I hit a deer with my Fit back in 2015, only 3 weeks after buying the car:


I lucked out with minimal damage and the deer wasn't killed.
Still costed around $2,500 but insurance took care of it.

Drove beside an accident once where a trucked flipped over and ended up on it's side:



And also caught a dumbass right before the on-ramp to the highway. Notice the cop waiting there at the red light beside me...

 

It's been a while since I posted, but here one that happened a few days ago. This happened on the way home. I took a back road home and got stuck behind a work truck. I wasn't sure if he was going to flip it, so I slowed down and went to the center of the lane.

Yes, it would seem that everyone has an odd relationship with their mothers.

We have a big problem in Phoenix, AZ with people entering the freeway as "wrong way" drivers. The state is doing all kinds of things to try to control it. A few people have been killed.

 

This was on my morning commute. Driver was in the ditch for some reason and decided to do a u-turn in front of me. I have no idea why passenger door was wide open during the time

He did not just make a u turn, it was more of a 270 to get to the driveway.
