I don't know about anybody else, but this weather is really starting to wear thin on my nerves. Everyday is freezing cold and has a crazy wind chill!!!

I left Fort MacKay (1 hour north of McMurray) yesterday at 3 AM and it was -39C. The poor girl sounded like a Subaru until she had warmed up! Had the heater on 'high' and the fan on '4' most of the way (922 kms), but I survived. This morning, Canmore is a balmy -17C and I'm lovin' it! I drive to Jasper tomorrow for the holidays, but I'll be taking the Tribute up the Icefield Parkway so all should be fine.
I don't mind winter per se...but when it lasts for 6 months, and when a cold snap like this sets in for in extended period...at least we live in an area where we can ski for 6 months of the year!
However, a summer in the Canadian Rockies can't be beat!
