quick question before installing. I read that you don't need to take off the original. But then the double sided tape only has the H to stick on to...is this correct? That doesn't seem to be that secure...

 

the adhesive is very sticky. it is very secure with the amount of contact it is able to make. i had to forcefully pull to get it off mine

 

i bought mine about a 1 wk ago...and cleaned everything....the edges started to come off....wouldnt stay put. so i just made it a sticker for the rear window next to my fitfreak.net sticker....looked hella sick for the few days...i might buy again with like 2 or 3 more for back up. again its a STICKER that is applied on top of a non flat surface. but i would buy again...just not now. better than that red vinyl shit....

I'm just wondering what others did. Did they put double sided tape around the H to even it out a bit?

decaldude! time to make a complete replacement for us GD3 guys! i'd be all over that.

 

oh yeah i forgot you had a GD3. as for those style yes cut small pieces of double sided tape( the good stuff like 3m, not that household white shit) into shapes that fit into the voids of the stock H. this will give it more area to adhere to and the tape holds it there as well.

i had mine on my civic like that for over a year and it never once had any issues of wanting to come off.

 

Got my version#2 emblem in today!



I used a little bit of my own 3M double-sided sticky tape to make sure it stayed in there good. Don't think it will budge now lol.

Well I do have that red thread that I got from you a while back. This will have to take some deep consideration lol.

 

just so everyone knows, my son is due any day now so if i go MIA for a few days that is more than likely the reason.

i have added some more decals to the site over the past few days, still have a handful i need to roll out. will hopefully be adding flat black and carbon fiber wrapping vinyl to the site that can be bought by the square foot
