Most states have religious exemptions to COVID-19 social distancing rules
In an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus, every state in the United States has issued guidelines or orders limiting social interaction. But these rules don’t always apply evenly when it comes to in-person worship services and other religious gatherings.

Yeah this issue has hit our community too. There is at least 1/3 Covid-19 cases tied to one church here! Over 70 members are infected.

These people are really putting a BIG kink into recovery. They can follow their superstitions wherever they want, but mess with my loved ones or me, and you got a problem.

I'm assuming that even in states that are showing that they have no State enforced exemptions, that doesn't mean any particular church group can't voluntarily choose to follow state protocol. We don't want to assume that in all the dark blue states that means Church groups are meeting and playing sweaty games of Twister.
In short I'm hoping for a lot of common sense, where people just DON'T want to put themselves at risk, even if technically they can.
Of course some Church groups dance with poisonous snakes...under NORMAL conditions, so maybe I'm being too optimistic.
