if your chinese made clear corner or signal lenses are hanging by your bulb harness wire.

blitz style body kit (only should be on supra)

fake stereo bov sound kit with adjustable boost purge, aka volume.

any vtec decal/sticker that did not come on the car from factory.

what irks me the most is not really rice but everyone needing to have 20"+ chrome wheels on everything.

today i saw a broken down ass paint chipped/stripped, bumper half falling, diy tint 98 expedition with 24" wheels valued more than the suv its installed on.

 

A two seater with front wheel drive would be considered an economy transport vehicle, not a sports car.

 

hold the phone del sol is a sports car, because it is a light two seat two door car and in VTEC DOHC form a high revving performance engine. Lotus and Alfa Romeo (among others) also make or have made FWD convertible sports cars. Some could argue FWD don't make the BEST sports cars but that's a whole other bag.

Golf Gti and other hot hatchbacks could also be considered sports cars too. Just practical ones.

Technically any car involved in motorsports could be considered a sports car, hence the name: sports.

Check yoself before you wreck yoself.

I will have to agree there is a broad range of definitions for sports cars. Much broader than mine.

if the calipers came from the factory in those colors, then the owners aren't painting them, so going by the aforementioned rules, it is not rice - haha

i do agree with your point about 240s w/ stock motors though. that's just ridiculous to say that if a motor hasn't been swapped out of a car, it is rice.

I forgot to mention those same EVO/STi/GT-R's that paint the calipers blue, green, purple, etc.
