It matters because we didn't elect him on that basis. There is a lot about this man that we don't know. Do you want your President to have secrets about his past that will affect his loyalties to this country and our Constitution? There are protections in place so that a person born in another country cannot become President, and that was done so that there would be no question of loyalty to THIS country.

There aren't any when 2 of the 3 branches are controlled by one party!!! And when American people are so ignorant of history and world events that they don't even see what has been going on for decades!
