I like it here, and see a long future for the enthusiasm surrounding the car. Things go in waves, and I don't think we've seen the used car market spur on sales for the GE, when a lot of the hardcore guys will step in and want something different for a project. If gas prices go up, this is bound to happen.

DiamondStar, Let me restate. While their are piston and lower end internals it is my understanding(and you know far morethan I) that the top end /Head is severely limited as to what can be done. If you do not want FI I'm not sure how much HP you can make. Whereas B18/H2B/K20 can be built to some serious extremes NA.

I would love to here your opinion on this.

 

This forum feels more sluggish than it used to.

As for forum crazies... this is nothing compared to Tacomaworld. The servers have to be next to a big bridge or something because there are trolls everywhere.

There'll be lots of new members the next time oil exceeds $150/barrel, just like the last time that happened.

 

Insight... JDM aero parts fits USDM
CRZ... JDM aero parts fits USDM
GE FIT... JDM aero parts does not fit USDM

USDM safety requirements (longer front and rear end) doomed the GE is what happened. One fit just looked like another... yes it's kinda boring to be honest.

Toyota/Scion for example does not share the same fate... look at the xb community and the variety they offer.

It's more of, you don't always know whats in a thread, until you read it... and then, when you find out it's some thread you could almost classify as a troll thread, that you feel like: "wtf?" *slaps forehead*

 

 

All you have to do is respond to a new members question about what fuel to use by telling them to try one and then the other and make their own decision.... When they ask what my choice is and I tell them, it gets crazy....
