Yes, i know... I work at Honda ;) What im saying is i dont know where the Mugen ones are being built yet.
Just throwing out facts for others.
where its built
probably the usa, like the other civics, and then the mugen parts are slapped on her in america after importing them, as it makes no sense to build then send, then bring back.
its not going to be that hard guys, its a body kit and wheels and an exhaust, and the interior has a badge and shiftknob.
Thanks jdmchris for posting up the prices, i saw them earlier on edmunds. Waaay to overpriced. For 26k i'd take it, but not for that. Its just not worth it. all this justification for having a 'dealer' warrantied civic with mugen parts is lame...how many folks have really suffered reliability issues by adding mugen parts? how many people who even car about mugen car about warranties?
The car looks sweet, and performs a bit better than a stock si, but because of the way it looks, people will be expecting a lot more when they see you, and when you can deliver on outright speed because you are no more faster than your buddies si, we'll see how the huge hole in your wallet makes you feel better about your 'exclusivity'.
Shoulda seen the guys on 8th gen civic.com. What a bunch of misinformed people! talk of a short shifter kit, mugen air box and intake and how the car was probably underrated as there is no way that it still has 197 hp. Ha ha.
