Door lock making noise
My automatic door lock on 2000 CRV is making a lot of noise when
locking. A few times it has gotten stuck in a loop making that noise
until I unlocked using the remote and then manually locked it.
So I guess I need to open the door panel and find out if I can find
the cause? Any hints and tips on what could be the problem.
Also, any hints on taking the door panel off? I searched this list
but couldn't find anything from the past.

Since it's a CR-V, a good place to start it here:

There's links at the top of the page for installing tweeters, which
detail removal of the door panel.
Try the lubrication first, since the door inner liner is held on with
messy stuff. :-)
