thanks Toyota!
the only good thing you guys made for us is the Hachi-Roku and Supra!

Yeah for the tuner scene, but their cars a great in general. Don't forget Toyota also gave us the Altezza (Lexus IS 350), as well as all of the Scions. They've done a lot and some could say that Toyota>Honda.

...But we all know who's better, that's why we have Fits. HAHAHA

That's how Toyota and Toyota branches have always been. It sucks but whatever, they still get the money. Another reason why Honda seems to be a better value

Acid Test

The 5-door Yaris looks good -- maybe as good as a Fit. Maybe. Not.
But here's the acid test: Can you put two duffel bags or suitcases in the trunk, or do you have to set one of them on the back seat? I had a Yaris 3-door for a rental car one time, and you couldn't put two duffels (actually backpack-style luggage) in the trunk. My Fit, on the other hand, will gobble up both bags. Also no magic seats on the Yaris. So, on the surface of it, it seems that there would be a tougher choice between the two 5-doors. But if you look a little deeper, the Fit wins again!

The Magic Seats are a godsend, and were a big reason we chose to get the Fit over some of the other cars we looked at (VW Rabbit, Suzuki SX4). We travel 180 miles one way to our cabin about 40 weekends a year, and have two small dogs with their kennels. With the magic seats up, we put the dogs on the floor and can still fit all our stuff in the hatch. It actually works better than our other car (Subaru Forester).
