Nissan GT-R documentary
Yes there is a way to download any video really from most any website:
KeepVid: Download and save any video from Youtube, Dailymotion, Metacafe, iFilm and more!
You simply paste the video link from YouTube below and wait for the download. I use it for downloading from YouTube for my iPod, plenty of music vids, etc.

i just saw a GT-R on the road yesterday when i was driving in newport beach.
i will have to watch the vids when i get home. i'd still rather save my money for the next gen NSX.

man this story spread like wildfire ofer the forums. i got to race against one about 2 weeks ago and got killed by several hundred feet but man it was hella fun to hear that car WOT definatly an impressive car, i just wish my car was faster.
This car looks awesome. The sad thing is it's simply a piece of crap though. If you turn off the vdc when driving you void the warranty. They build a car they claim will do 0-60 in 4.1 seconds, put an on/off switch for vdc and put a transmission in that takes a dump after 15-30 launches and then don't cover it and then charge you $20,000 to replace the tranny. These cars have black boxes on them and they can download your driving info.
One poor shmuck's story

While it is true that some GTRs are having some problems the bulk of GTRs are doing just fine. You can abuse the car with multiple launches with VDC off which is not recommended by anyone and you might run into trouble but some owners have done it and been trouble free.
Others report no trouble doing launches with full automatic transmission and VDC on with good results with 0-60 and quarter mile times.

Edmunds did have trouble and their windshield did crack but under what circumstances they did not say. MINI also had trouble with early models and cracked windshields but not in every area- mostly places there small stones hit the glass. I have a MINI and never had trouble nor others in my area but in colorado they do get more damage (big trucks and lots of gravel).
Gun Metallic GTR

It's still early so it's hard to say how the GTR will do but some owners have 10K miles driven without trouble. Some will have higher costs to operate but that goes with this car.
Also helps to have a dealership that knows what they are doing. Your results may vary.
You'll be saving for a longer time than first thought, Honda has cancelled the new NSX......sad really but Honda knows the market.
The world economy is doing too poorly right now.
The GTR has a Spec V version coming out soon in Japan with only a select few locations able to provide service- only 7 in Japan.
Spec V a little more power and 200 lbs lighter, different wheels and minus the rear seat.
