haha i thought about buying another crx and switching the plates for track days, but its going to be kind of hard to fly under the radar with a straight pipe, full cage and gutted interior haha.

Thatll be awesome man. Too bad you didnt build a EF though, longer wheel base for better high speed cornering. Crx will still do fine though.

good thing im not circle track racing hehehe.

im going to have to disagree with you on this one. long wheelbase increases stability but reduces traction. short wheelbase has better steering response and can hold more speed through a tight corner.

IDK I can smell a straight pipe 5 cars away. But I am into that sort of thing, maybe cops would not notice. Probably more for them to worry about in CA than some uppity kid with one o' them fureign cars.

Wow i just noticed that engine looks HUGE in that stripped crx. Especially from the front view.

no, im not going to use the supercharger. the alternator pulley is super close to the frame rail and if i had to add an extra inch of belt, it would rub for sure creating a whole mess of problems for me. i am looking to sell the supercharger and find a nice set of individual throttle bodies.

at this point, the engine is in and its not coming out. if i did any banging on anything, i would ruin the paint and have to redo it all over again. too much work for what? 50 more horsepower that i dont necessarily need in such a light car.
