I dont really care about the standard options the fit have (tho I like them).
You know, I bought a Manual Fit Sport White, and by looking at some of the things aftermarket has, maybe I would be better with a base manual. I didn't buy the Versa, cause I couldn't compare (versa was not out yet). Fit is #1 for it's sporty drive (and so in love with the gauge cluster!) but I have had nissans through all my life (but the dam boaty accord) and non of them had give me problems and I DRIVE LIKE A RALLY DRIVER IN A AUTO-X REAL WORLD, so quality has never been an issue. What really pisses me of in the Versa is the driving position that is SO WEIRD. like better all the way the Fit's position. Anyway the two are great kick-ass cars with different aproach.
I wish I could have them both!! or better a civic Si 4 door!!! (that is the first civic that I REALLY LIKE!!! better than my old 92' SE-R.)

Nissan just doesn't have the reputation for quality that Honda has. I'd expect the Fit to go 200,000 miles, if you take care of it. Anyone think the Nissan would do the same? I had a 1986 Civic Si with 193,000 on the clock when I sold it, and that pretty much convinced me about Honda.

Point. Don't belive all urban legends about cars. Nissan are good cars, tho I belive they had have some bad years ( like the time in our growing when we were dam ugly) But not live by car brand blindness.
For an example: If the fit, or the civic si were Hyundai, would you buy them? I think not, tho Hyundai have the best quality and waranty lately.
Don't get me wrong, maybe me neither!!
And what about the Miata, you wouldn't want THE BEST rodaster because it's not an honda!! that is my point and by no means trying to prove you wrong or nothing, it's just that there are people like I describe and don't know if you're one of them.
Quality: Nissan vs. Honda
Nissan just doesn't have the reputation for quality that Honda has.
This is definitely true in North America, and maybe so in places like UK as well. But the funny thing is in the native land of Nissan and Honda, it is the opposite. In Japan, Honda does not have as good a reputation for quality as Nissan does. This is especially true among people 50 and older, who had witnessed some crappy Honda cars in the past and just cannot get over the impression. Most young people seem to be okay with both Nissan and Honda. I rarely ever hear any debate over there about these two companies' quality.
I think that, as far as Nissan and Honda built in Japan, they are pretty much equal in quality. When it comes to Nissan and Honda built in the Americas, though, I have to say Honda does a better job in pumping out quality products, as Nissan's TN facilities have been struggling with quality control. I don't know much about Nissan's Mexico facility where the Versa is being built.

I think the Versa what the best choice for you camperstand. I chose the fit SOLELY for the performace. However, if I had not been concerned with performance, I would probably be driving a Versa right now. Good choice.
