I got my my Mt 3 weeks back and also found that I had to adjust to it,it shifts nothing like my toyota truck,It takes adjusting your style of clutch release,and accelerator pedal but once you do its a peach.I have driven subarus and found them difficult,as well as new beetles.So in my experience every mt takes a tiny bit of personal technique adjusting.:o
