Got this 1994 Accord ex from a friend to detail, after shots:
F22B1 vtec motor with 5 spd stick, #quick
It's a daily driver no special care for this EX, but it still turns heads
It's probably the color, which is close to original but more intense.

Today was buff that hood day
Wet sanded with 2500 blocked the whole hood. This is original 20 year old paint with an almost sand blasted finish, that and Carolina bug guts etched into it. Not looking for perfect not even great, just not cringable when I walk up to it.
well today is cloudy out, but I'll rock this result! After a winter zephyr passed thru yesterday
Gotta get worst before it can get better. Blocked with 2500
#10 Maguire's compound 4 passes. Torque Detail mirror finish 2 coats on raw paint, 1 layer of Ice paste wax. And now just waiting for the sun to come back out.
Did you use the same product and process on the headlights? as you did for the hood? The results are great!
Yes pretty much just taped the surrounding bumper as not to sand the paint. As I remember it was a hand buffing on them. Once you'er down to 2500 wet/dry its pretty quick.
There was a line in the bumper just in front of the hood that was faded to grey. Taped it off and sprayed with gloss black. So small that it didn't matter till after the hood was blocked and wet sanded. Then it jumped! Out. lol Before
